Dark King, c. 1990, is a synthesis of power and grace. Its automated industro-rhythmic drive is complimented by the ethereal expanse of new age influence. The members of Dark King have worked hard to preserve the integrity of their music through the void of the late 80's and the turbulent change of the 90's. Adopting the most aggressive changes of each era to maintain a purity of identity to be atypical and competitive. Each member of Dark King retrospect their contrasting musical backgrounds in a disciplined but conscience union. From the midwest to the middle east the lifelines of Dark King are clear and definable. It is an entity, with an ability to reflect and confront its fears.

Iain was born in London, England. He came to America at age four. Iain occupied himself in drawing, painting and music. Persistent in his childhood to create, he frustrated his music teachers by writing music instead of practicing. Later, Iain studied classical and jazz piano professionally. Fascinated by electronics, Iain's music went in that direction just at the dawn of high technology. After graduating from music college he began to work with Robert Steele and Carlos Rogers, major song writers and producers. Later Iain went on to produce four records for independent record labels. Despite the cold, inhuman stigma of electronics, the music that Iain creates is emotional and human.

Nuri began playing guitar at age fifteen. Set against the strict tradition of his family, this hobby was both a struggle and an inspiration which led to his current interest in Singing. Nuri's passionate vocal style is strongly influenced by the native sounds of his homeland.

Tydal Canon, born in New York, was raised on the Disco and New Wave sounds of the early eighties which influenced him to play the guitar. He later became involved in the hard sounds of death metal bands such as Celtic Frost. Ty formed bands as the main song writer and lead guitarist from thrash to progressive metal. Unsatisfied with the standards of those formats Ty sought to incorporate all of his musical influences into a style yet undefined. Ty's style of playing is fierce and precise. He brings a powerful edge to anything he plays. His playing creates images of darkness, images reflected by his understanding of a cold world.
